At the heart of this project was a clear purpose — a space that reflects and supports the incredible work SPCA does every day. SPCA helps protect over 55,000 animals in New Zealand every year — animals who are sick, injured, abused, or vulnerable — enteria™ collaborated with a team of specialists to deliver an environment that enables that care to happen seamlessly, efficiently, and with compassion at its core.
A key focus of the project was ensuring the reception area could operate efficiently under pressure, with ample space and a layout that supports both staff workflows and visitor movement. Behind the scenes, we incorporated extensive custom joinery throughout the facility, designed specifically to meet SPCA’s operational needs, improving storage, organisation, and day-to-day functionality. This extends into the purpose-built operating and treatment rooms, where practicality, hygiene, and ease of use were critical to supporting veterinary teams in delivering the highest standard of care.
The result is a space that actively supports SPCA’s mission, enhances daily operations, and helps create better outcomes for the thousands of animals they care for each year.
